Under the description for the WINAPI macro, it says, "Amphibious functions, which have both ANSII and WIDE variant, may be specified with or without explicite suffix A or W."
It's supposed to say ambiguous, not amphibious.
Under the description for %SETB, it says, "%SETB is similar to %SETA, it accepts extended boolean expressions and assignes them in the form of binary digits"
It's supposed to say assigns, not assignes.

Re: Amphibious
I treat the term amphibious as designed for two realms — air and water — such as amphibious vehicle or animal (frog, salamander), and amphibious functions as designed for both character realms — ANSI and WIDE. Do you think that metaphore is really bad?
Ad assignes, occurs 8 times, mea culpa.

Re: Amphibious
The analogy will not be obvious to American English speakers that I know of. Maybe you can wait and see if anyone else makes a comment about it.
