What's new: New features and bugs of 20251110 fixed in 20260727
Added new Intel AES instructions AESENC128KL, AESDEC128KL, AESENC256KL, AESDEC256KL, AESENCWIDE128KL, AESDECWIDE128KL, AESENCWIDE256KL, AESDECWIDE256KL in the source iip.htm.
Instructions SCAS had incorrect order of explicit operands: instead of SCAS [rDI],rAX it should be SCAS rAX,[rDI]. Fixed, see t3212.
Instruction PUSH now accepts suffix ~B. PUSHB is encoded as 6A ib, operand imm8 is sign-extended by CPU and put on stack.
MVEX instructions JKZD and JKNZD were wrongly assembled when prefix VEX3 was explicitly requested. Fixed.
Instruction CLRSSBSY was incorrectly defined as F3 0F AE /5 instead of F3 0F AE /6. Fixed.
Instruction ENCLV was incorrectly defined as 0F 01 0C instead of 0F 01 C0. Fixed.
Instruction HRESET was incorrectly defined as F3 0F 3A F0 C0 instead of F3 0F 3A F0 C0 ib. Fixed.
Instruction PCOMMIT (660FAEF8) was replaced with CLFLUSHOPT (660FAE /7).
Opening a directory in Linux macro FileEach does not use flag O_NOATTIME any longer.
Utility EuroView now has a built-in disassembler. It supports almost all EuroAssembler instructions except for Cyrix and a few undocumented and obsolete instructions.
When a program is assembled with PROGRAM FORMAT=COFF, WIDTH=16, €ASM will set flag Characteristic in file header with value FILE_16BIT_MACHINE=0x0040. This EuroAssembler enhancement helps to recognize COFF16 file format in disassembler.
